Job Description:

Be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and testing computer motherboards to ensure their proper functionality. This position plays a crucial role in efficient operation for ensuring that customers receive high-quality motherboard repair services.

Key Responsibilities

Analyse and identify motherboard issues, such as power failure, bootup problems, component failures, and circuitry defects.
Perform intricate soldering and rework tasks to repair or replace faulty components on motherboards.
Conduct comprehensive testing of repaired motherboards to ensure proper functioning and reliability.
Implement quality control measures to meet company standards and customer expectations.
Maintain detailed records of motherboard repair processes, including diagnosis, repair actions, and test results.
Update service reports and database accurately for inventory management and tracking purposes.
Work closely with the technical team to collaborate on complex repair issues and share knowledge and expertise.
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to provide status updates and progress reports.
Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures while handling sensitive electronic components.
Comply with company policies, procedures, and industry regulations to maintain a safe and efficient working environment.

Requirement

Education requirement minimum NITEC in Electrical or Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
With a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in a similar capacity.
Able to read and understand electrical schematics diagrams/blueprints.
Handson experience and knowledge of laptop/desktop/AIO/PCB repair.
Proven experience as a motherboard and laptop repair technician or in a similar electronics repair role.
Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
Effective time management and organizational abilities.
A passion for technology and a continuous desire to learn and improve technical skills.
