  • Trainee/InternFounded in Florence in 1860 as a workshop, shop and subsequently school of watchmaking, for many decades Panerai supplied the Italian Navy and its specialist diving corps in particular with precision instruments. The designs developed by Panerai in that time, including the Luminor and Radiomir, were covered by the Military Secrets Act for many years and were launched on the international market only after the brand was acquired by the Richemont Group in 1997.
Today Panerai develops and crafts its movements and watches at its Neuchâtel manufacture. The latter are a seamless melding of Italian design flair and history with Swiss horological expertise. Panerai watches are sold across the world through an exclusive network of distributors and Panerai boutiques.


MAIN PURPOSE
Officine Panerai is looking for an enthusiastic and meticulous Intern to support daily marketing operations and administrative tasks.

The individual will play an important, hands-on role in the planning, implementation and follow-up stages of client and press activations in SEAO.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Support the marketing team in daily administrative tasks, such as:
i


Public and Press Relations:

Prompt response to press enquiries in collaboration with the Marketing Manager; monitoring of press clippings to ensure all coverage is tracked; dissemination of seasonal/ad-hoc greeting cards and gifts; management of press photoshoot logistics.

ii


Digital:
Creation of dedicated monthly social media kits in collaboration with the Marketing and Wholesale team.

Events:
Strong support with the creation of publicity materials and on-site as a runner during local events.

Logistics:
Manage the local movement and regional shipment of display material for activations.

Reporting:

Monthly marketing & media report creation & analysis, and annual activation calendar updates; collation of information such as pictures for post-event reporting.

Finance:
Collation of quotations and invoices, and creation of necessary purchase orders and new vendor requests.

Team Meetings:
Active participation in marketing brainstorm meetings with ideas.


REQUIREMENTS:


  • Technical Competencies
  • Knowledge of MS Office tools & Adobe creative programs.
  • Familiar with content creations & social platforms
  • Responsible, proactive, possesses analytical skills & solution driven.
  • Collaborative spirit do not be afraid to ask questions
  • Ability to thrive in a fastpaced environment and prioritise multiple tasks at hand.
  • Flexibility in schedule, as activations may happen after office hours or on weekends.
  • Interest in watches is a plus.
