    Core Responsibilities:

    • Manage and plan manufacturing process sequence, from receipt of raw materials till finished parts shipment.
    • Develop new processes solid modeling and create/update work instructions, in accordance with engineering drawings and specifications.
    • Design toolings, fixtures and gauges.
    • Establish Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP); conduct pre-production pilot run and training for associates.
    • Provide technical support to Production to achieve technical and quality requirements.
    • Liaise with OEM on product requirements, process qualifications and technology development.
    • Lead/Support continuous improvement projects through Barnes Enterprise system.
    • Support Request for Quote (RFQ) proposal development and process
    • Multi-task other engineering-related duties as assigned.

    Qualifications:

    • At least 3 years' experience in precision engineering/aerospace component manufacturing or mass manufacturing. Competent with CAD software; Siemens NX Unigraphics preferred.
    • Experience with CNC machining and programming using CAD/CAM.
    • Good knowledge of tool and fixture design.
    • Proficient at reading, analyzing, and interpreting customer drawings, specifications, procedures, and standards.
    • Good project management, analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Good interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interface with all levels of people.
    • Knowledge of IoT sensors/gateways, hardware testing and troubleshooting.
    • Familiarity with special processes such as heat treatment, welding, non-conventional machining.

    Education Requirements:

    • Degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Aeronautical Engineering or Diploma holders with minimum 5 years' experience.
