Description

The Learning and Development Senior Manager is responsible for identifying and executing L&D strategies across different countries in Asia, as well as all revenue generating groups in Asia regionally.

In this role you will partner with senior stakeholders; engaging, advising, designing and delivering learning solutions that drive our business.

This multifaceted role requires a motivated and experienced learning professional who is looking for a regional leadership role that will allow them to remain hands on and strategic simultaneously.


Key responsibilities include:
Locally and Regionally

  • Partner with business stakeholders in relevant business groups, as well as local Country Head leadership teams in various countries in Asia to lead and drive high impact learning solutions that deliver to our business objectives and employee needs
  • Design, facilitate and project manage learning programs ensuring optimal learning and development opportunities are available across different office locations, including leading our global flagship leadership program for Directors.
  • Manage a team across Hong Kong and Manila who are engaged in delivering regional initiatives:
  • Oversee the delivery of regional junior talent programs.
  • Oversee the creation and maintenance of our data analytics projects.
  • Oversee the documentation, implementation, and continuous improvement of L&D systems and processes
  • Oversee the delivery of bespoke programs in Asia.
  • Manage excellent relationships with vendors and ensure compliance with all legal requirements
  • Oversee the administration and logistics of training delivery of inlocation and bespoke programs in the region, ensuring risks are managed and mitigated.
  • Drive the regional analysis and interpretation of Macquarie Voice survey results for our Asia Management Committee
  • Evaluate and deliver management reports that track and benchmark learning and demonstrate a return on learning investment
Globally

  • Collaborate with colleagues across Macquarie's global L&D footprint to cocreate regional talent and culture initiatives and contribute to global projects

Relevant Experience

  • 16 to 18 years of experience developing creative and engaging training/content alongside exceptional project management and evaluation experienced across a suite of learning and development interventions
  • Experience in managing senior business stakeholders in revenue generating roles and passionate about building credibility and establishing trust with stakeholders knowledge of commodities business is essential
  • A passion for facilitation, drawing on excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Demonstrable knowledge of learning strategies, channels, techniques and methods
  • Deep knowledge in innovation and trained in Human Centered Design and experience in creating prototypes for learning solutions.
  • Knowledge and 10 years experience in data analytics advanced knowledge and experience in MS Excel, and intermediate knowledge in creating PowerBI dashboards.
  • Experience linking organizational strategy and learning objectives
  • Proven ability to build strong working relationships, internal and external to the organization
  • Driven and motivated wants to be 'hands on' to get the right solution for their client every time. Comfortable contributing beyond the limits of their job description.
