Lendlease Singapore is currently searching for an experienced Senior EHS Manager to join the Project Management & Construction team responsible for the build and delivery of a range of projects across the region.

  • Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to;Maintain current knowledge of all relevant legal and regulatory EH&S requirements, as well as Company policies and guidelines, to ensure proposed EH&S plans and safe work procedures are in line with industry Best Practice and comply with all legal regulations.
  • Liaise with all immediate stakeholders and review each stage of the works to establish minimum EH&S and inspection standards, ensuring site management plans are appropriate and in line with legislative requirements.
  • Oversee and contribute to the development of EH&S training programmes for all staff to develop, foster and maintain safety awareness and compliance within all sites and/or works.
  • Manage relationships with third party waste disposal service providers and scaffold equipment suppliers to track and monitor performance in relation to agreed deliverables.
  • Review all incident investigation reports, registers and the incident management database to monitor site accident statistics, identifying trends, and implementing remedial action plans to mitigate risks, providing reports to senior EH&S managers to advise on process improvements to prevent recurring incidents.
  • Oversee the work of less experienced EH&S analysts to maintain appropriate reporting standards.
  • Maintain current knowledge of all relevant legal and regulatory EH&S requirements, as well as Company policies and guidelines to ensure proposed EH&S plans and safe work procedures are in line with industry Best Practice and comply with all legal regulations

Qualifications:

  • Experience in strategic EHS role and/or knowledge and indepth understanding the construction industry.
  • Problem solving and analytical skills with the ability to work through complex issues and guide and coach others in the resolution of problems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and communicate across the organisation at all levels.
