We are seeking a self-motivated individual to serve as Finance Manager.

He/she will be tasked with the responsibility of overseeing finance, accounting, financial planning and analysis and tax functions for the Singapore entity as well as month end closing and consolidation for the group accounts from operations in China and Germany.

This position will report directly to the CFO.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare monthly report for company and subsidiaries up to group consolidated report
Review and implement the necessary financial procedures, SOPs, internal controls, and business processes in Singapore and work closely with the accounting branches in China and Germany
Full spectrum of finance functions for the Singaporean company, include accounting, bookkeeping, budgeting, controls, treasury management, capital & investments, tax, and compliance. Oversee the processing of payments, payroll, employee reimbursements and various tax and other submissions
Handle annual external audits
Liaise with auditor/banker and other external parties
Recruit and coach a finance team to handle local as well as headquarter financial related matters.
Maintain the company statutory registers and records

Requirements:

Degree in Accountancy or ACCA qualifications, proficient in IFRS and US GAAP principles
At least 5 Years(s) of working experience as Finance Manager, prior experience in Big 4 audit firm, with healthcare or biotech sector and in an IPO/publicly listed company a plus
Proficient in MS Office and accounting software (MYOB), prior experience with Kingdee a plus
Maintain board/investor tracking and share capital updates with the government, maintain board and shareholder resolution and other investment related documents. Prior exposure to legal and a board secretary work a plus
Detail oriented, able to multitask and work independently in a dynamic environment
Preferable bilingual in English and Mandarin
Is discreet with confidential information.
