Title:

Senior Principal Engineer (Field Instrument Lead)


Responsibilities:


  • Lead Procurement activities for Field Instrumentation
  • Sizing & Selection of all field Instrumentation including Flowmeters, Control valves, Safety relief valves, etc
  • Preparation of Specification & datasheets for all field instrumentation (flow, pressure, temperature, Analyzers, Safety valves, etc)
  • Technical review of offers for field instrumentation, preparation of Technical queries, Technical Bid evaluation
  • Vendor data review for all field instrumentation
  • Participate in Bid conditioning meetings, KOM, design reviews, Testing etc

Job Requirements

  • Degree in Electronics or Control systems/Instrumentation Engineering
  • Minimum 15 years experience in I&C Engineering/Design of Hydrocarbon or Offshore Oil & Gas Processing Facilities
  • Thorough knowledge of sizing of control valves, Orifice, Safety valves, etc
  • Hands on experience in using Database tools like Hexagon SPI or AVEVA Instrumentation
  • Familiar with international codes & standards applicable for sizing & selection of instruments
  • Possess good communication skills and leadership qualities
  • Ability to understand client & project requirements and meet the project expectations in terms of Quality and schedule
