Summary:

We are looking for a qualified and experienced GSE Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate should have in-depth knowledge of diagnosing, repairing and maintaining various types of vehicles. This position requires a thorough understanding of GSE systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical systems and hydraulic systems.

Responsibilities:

Diagnose and repair GSE problems through inspection, troubleshooting and use of diagnostic equipment

Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tyre rotations and brake inspections

Repair or replace worn or defective components, including brakes, suspension systems and exhaust systems

Perform thorough GSE inspections and provide accurate estimates for necessary repairs

Ensure proper documentation of repair procedures and maintain accurate service records

Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines when working on vehicles

Maintain a clean and organised work area

Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with your customers

Qualifications:

Completed formal GSE technician training or equivalent experience

At least 2 years of experience as an GSE technician

In-depth knowledge of automotive systems, components and repair procedures

Familiarity with diagnostic equipment and computerised repair systems

Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills

Attention to detail and commitment to high quality work

Excellent customer service and communication skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Valid driving licence and a clean criminal record

Physical requirements:

Ability to lift and move heavy objects

Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including prolonged standing, bending and working in confined spaces

Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
