    About this role

    This traineeship is an opportunity for aspiring individuals who are keen to join aviation industry but do not meet the pre-requisites as a trained aircraft engine technician. Upon successful completion of the program, a career as a qualified aircraft engine technician awaits you.

    About the Traineeship Program

    · The program involves a fully-sponsored training program with an allowance of S$1,700 – S$1,900 per month over the one-year training period.

    · The program encompasses initial company familiarisation, classroom training and on-the-job training.

    · The initial familiarisation in SAESL provides an insight to the working environment prior to attending classroom training.

    · The three-month classroom training, consisting of theory and practical sessions, will be conducted and assessed by an external training academy.

    · The nine-month on-the-job training in SAESL provides the opportunity to learn and work on the renowned Rolls-Royce Trent Engines.

    · Upon completion of the training, the qualified aircraft engine technician will serve a two-year bond with SAESL.

    · The starting salary of a shift-rostered technician at SAESL is between S$2,050 and S$2,150. Career progression opportunity is open to promising technicians.

    Requirements

    Interested applicants must meet the following pre-requisites:

    · NITEC / Higher NITEC / Diploma in Engineering (eg. Aeronautical/ Avionics/ Mechanical/ Mechatronics/ Manufacturing/ Electrical/ Precision)

    · Completed or exempted from full-time National Service

    · Required to work on rotating shift work

    · Willing to work in Changi
