Mechanical Technician - Singapore - INFINITY OFFSHORE & ASHORE PTE. LTD.

Description

• Site execution of precommissioning, commissioning and function testing of mechanical equipment such as pumps, compressors, lubrication oil skids, etc.
• Carry out isolations / deisolations on mechanical equipment & piping system.
• Perform line walk prior to system energization.
• Conduct / attend Tool Box Talks to ensure full understanding of work scope as per PTW requirements.
• Site management of commissioning activities, tools, shiploose items, consumables and spares.
• Liaise with vendors for providing assistance in carrying out precommissioning and commissioning scope of work related to vendor packages.
• Carry out troubleshooting of faults arising during commissioning tests.
• Completing & submission of commissioning documentation such as check sheets, test procedures, redline markup drawings, etc. completed during commissioning tests.
• Close out of punch list.
• Prepare Triparty walk work pack as per the required format.
• Attend Triparty punch walk as required by supervisor.
• To attend daily VSCC / Permit To Work meetings as advised by supervisor.
• Maintain latest drawings/ documentation on site including all redline markup drawings.
• Preparation of daily timesheet submissions.
• Adherence to commissioning schedule.

• Degree / Diploma in mechanical Engineering or any relevant trade certificate.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in related field.
• Should be able to communicate in English written & spoken.
• Should have minimum relevant commissioning experience of more than 3 FPSO / FSO projects.
• Understanding of Hazardous Areas and ATEX requirements.
• Conversant with the use of tools & test equipment i.e. Laser Alignment tool, vibration monitors, noise meters etc.
• Familiar with P&ID, layout drawings etc.
• Knowledge of mechanical / process systems.
• Experienced in handling Hydraulic units.
• Experienced in N2-He Leak testing is preferred (Previous project experience/involvement in N2-He Leak testing)
• Experienced in commissioning of GTG and Gas compressor packages.
• Rigging & lifting certification is preferred.
• Good documentation skill such as redline / asbuilt drawing markup preparation, etc.
• Good leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Able to work independently as well as in a team with strong troubleshooting skill.
• Keep good communication and reporting to supervisors on day to day activities.
