    The Assistant Manager, Operations will be key in driving success of Disney Store APAC by contributing to the efficient operations of Disney Store APAC through delivering operational efficiency and effectiveness. This position will be responsible for the management of 3PL Warehouse, Last Mile function & Guest Service in Singapore.

    Responsibilities:

    Operations

  • Define and monitor third party vendors SLAs including but not limited to DC, Last Mile providers and Consolidating Hubs
  • Drive flawless execution against defined SLAs to ensure Disney Store orders received are dispatched and fulfilled accurately within specified timelines by both internal and external teams
  • Management of the local 3PL relationship, including supervise the warehouse activities and services to ensure efficient and safe operation of all warehouse functions
  • Management of the local Domestic and Cross-Border Partner relationship, including schedule of outgoing orders to ensure efficient execution of last mile and returns processes
  • Oversee day to day warehouse operations to exceed expectations for product availability, productivity, daily workflow and accuracy which include Stock Receiving, Putaway, Replenishment, Picking, Packing, Dispatch & Returns operations, Warehouse Capacity and Resource Planning
  • Partner with Buying/Product and Marketing team to prioritize and achieve on time Goods Receiving in 3PL warehouse for timely new product launch and promotions
  • Drive and collaborate with 3PL to design, implement and improve stock control systems, cycle count to ensure inventory are accurate and optimize at all times through defining slow-medium-fast moving and obsolete items with partnership with Product/Planning Team to achieve warehouse space and capacity optimization
  • Provides oversight and conducts ad hoc physical inventory cycle counts audit and quality checks to ensure all items being managed within SLAs and quality criteria
  • Lead and influence 3PL and Last Mile Provider to deliver continuous process improvements to achieve cost optimization and service delight to add value to Disney Store APAC
  • Support Operational and Management Reporting/Scorecard to provide visibility and drive performance management
  • Support Operations administration including but not limited to processing purchase orders fulfilment, dispatching, sourcing and procurement of consumables
  • Validate all third-party vendors billings to ensure accuracy and on time payment processing
  • Render support for key projects to contribute to Disney Store APAC growth and expansion plan
  • Maintain accurate Vendor Manual documentation and SOP
  • Ensure safe, clean and healthy working environment in compliance to statutory requirements and company policies
  • Collaboration

  • Excellent communicator, comfortable presenting at all levels internally and externally
  • Partner with Buying/Planning & Sourcing Team to understand and optimize inventory flow and address any product quality issues reported by Guests or 3PL
  • Work closely with Digital and Guest Service Team to deliver service delight to Guests through providing recommendations related to checkout, returns/refund processes and Guests' complaint
  • Collaborate with Marketing Team to execute packaging, delivery standards and promotions/special initiatives to exceed Guest expectations
  • Collaborates with EMEA Operations and supports inventory balancing and variance investigation
  • Influence relevant stakeholders to improve inventory turns and eliminate aged and hash inventory
  • Drive Commercial Outcomes

  • Efficient end to end management of Singapore DC operations from shipment receipts, inventory management, order scheduling, picking, Inventory management, order fulfillment and returns
  • Proactive and take accountability for increasing performance and results
  • Perform external benchmarking periodically and optimize negotiations, contracts and performance management of third-party vendors including but not limited to DC, Final Mile providers, Consolidating Hubs through collaboration with Procurement & Legal team
  • Accountable for reporting/tracking and analysis to identify key opportunities and partner with both internal and external stakeholders to find the optimum solutions
  • Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in warehouse/inventory management similarly levelled role, ideally in an eCommerce, Omni and/or FMCG environment
  • Knowledge of logistics, including carriers, shipping policies and procedures
  • Experience in setting up a DC, inventory management systems and logistics work flows
  • Ability to multi-task and pivot priorities under strict deadlines
  • Experience on comparable project management initiatives in Omni channel environment
  • Highly adaptable and proactive: a self-starter that thrives in a fast-paced and demanding environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills, communication, critical thinking, and problem solving
  • Take ownership, are an innovative problem-solver, and maintain a high level of accountability
