We are seeking a Lead DevOps Engineer to join our technology team in Singapore. This role is responsible for leading a global team of DevOps Engineers, enhancing our cloud architecture with a focus on Azure, and ensuring the highest standards of security, automation, and system reliability. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in DevOps operations, expertise in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, and a passion for continuous improvement. While leadership experience is a plus, we are open to candidates eager to progress into this pivotal role.

Your EDGE Assignment/You Will

• Lead a global team of DevOps Engineers, providing expertise in modern cloud architectures and operational practices.
• Provide Level 2 and Level 3 support, working with frontline service management teams to drive permanent solutions and prevent recurring incidents.
• Design and deliver technology systems adhering to the Azure Well Architected Framework, ensuring all non-functional requirements are integrated.
• Automate cloud deployments using declarative as-code solutions to enhance efficiency and reliability.
• Oversee the quality of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Configuration as Code within the team, maintaining high standards for all deployments.
• Work closely with the Information Security team to ensure our systems and codes are safeguarded against potential security threats and vulnerabilities.
• Ensure all technology systems are equipped with comprehensive and integrated observability capabilities.
• Proactively identify and lead service improvement initiatives within the technology domain to enhance service quality for customers and colleagues.
• Engage with System Architects, Product Managers, and Technology Leads to facilitate agile-based technology delivery that aligns with business objectives.

Are you the one?

• Solid background in DevOps operations with hands-on experience in managing cloud environments, particularly Microsoft Azure.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code, with a strong emphasis on Terraform.
• Capable of leading teams with a collaborative approach. Prior leadership experience is beneficial but not mandatory for candidates demonstrating strong potential for progression.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a track record of implementing permanent solutions to complex issues.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with various stakeholders and team members.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
