What the role is

The Corrupt Practices Investigation Bureau (CPIB) is a Government agency under the Prime Minister's Office. Responsible for the investigation and prevention of corruption in Singapore, the Bureau works with the community to ensure zero tolerance towards corruption, and that Singapore remains corruptionfree.

CPIB welcomes motivated individuals who are keen to contribute to the Bureau's mission and duty.

What you will be working on

CPIB strives to be a datadriven organisation. As Chief Data Analyst, you will assist in the efficient implementation of analytics projects and enhance the digital and data proficiency of officers.

The job scope includes (but not limited to):

Assist stakeholders in scoping their business analytics problem statements and developing business data collection plan.
Discuss with stakeholders to understand their business challenges, sharpen the business use cases, and translate them into actionable analytics projects.
Perform data cleaning, preprocessing, feature engineering, and build data science models for use and analysis.
Support the design, implementation and maintenance of data flow channels and data processing systems.
Communicate data insights in a clear narrative, supported with visuals.
Translate results from analysis work into actionable recommendations for stakeholders.

What we are looking for

At least 23 years' experience in working on data warehouse or analytics projects;
Have some experience in data modelling for analytics (e.g. STAR schemas, snowflake schemas) and relevant extracttransformload (ETL) processes;
Have understanding of machine learning, NLP and operations research;
Good knowledge of SQL and python programming;
Experience with Tableau, Dataiku, Neo4J, CKAN, Senzing would be an advantage;
Good interpersonal skills, a detailoriented & flexible person who can work across different areas within the team;
A good understanding of Singapore enforcement system would be an advantage; and
Singapore Citizen.
