Description
Key roles & Responsibilities
- Assist Technical Superintendents with Quarterly / Condition / Maintenance reports
- Liaise with Manager/ Superintendents for prompt supply of technical spare parts or vsl repair jobs or annual services
- Liaise with Class and Flag on relevant matters attendance / issuance of certificates
- Adequately conversant with the Safety Management System (ISM cosd)
- Assist Superintendents in effectively implementing the Company's Management System
- Under direction from Superintendents, ensure that the vessels achieve the required technical standards and performance.
- Ensure that the vessels' certificates and documents are systematically updated and stored in Vessel database
- Pursue effective implementation of the Company's planned maintenance system under guidance of technical Superintendent.
- Prepare, arrange and manage class, statutory and other vessel surveys for vessels as required.
Job experience & Qualifications
- Diploma in Marine Engineering or equivalent
- At least 13 years working experience in Shipping Industry/ Marine Repair Companies is a MUST
