Manager, Capability Development


Job Purpose

Manager Capability Development Office is responsible to develop mid to long term strategies to address Operations and Maintenance (O&M) challenges.

The manager is responsibility for capability needs identification and development for CCL. The manager is also responsible for the formulation of the workplan formulation and digitalization roadmap. The manager shall also assist Head CCL in human capital management and development for CCL.


Responsibilities

  • Identify future challenges and develop mid to long term strategies for CCL capability growth to address challenges
  • To carry out Strength, Weakness, Opportunity, Threat (SWOT) analysis to identify challenges and area for growth in CCL
  • Develop strategies to address the challenges and capitalize on the opportunities available.
  • Lead and Manage work plan formulation and execution for CCL
  • Comprehend SMRT Corporate and Trains Workplan for alignment of CCL workplan
  • To organize and facilitate workplan formulation workshops for CCL
  • To manage and execute periodic workplan reviews to ensure timely updating of CCL workplan
  • Design and Develop Digitalization roadmap for CCL
  • Identify digitalization needs for CCL in alignment with CCL mid to long term strategies and workplan
  • Identify relevant project owners and define proper scope of requirement for all identified needs
  • Ensure oversight of all CCL digitalization projects, budget and progress
  • Assist Head CCL in human capital management and development for CCL
  • To identify processes for human capital management and development within CCL
  • To liaise with HRBP on relevant human capital management issues
  • To assist Head CCL on any other human capital related issues

Qualifications & Work Experience

  • Degree Holder
  • Preferably with at least 5 years of work experience in operations or maintenance operations, plans or organization development roles

Skills
A strategic thinker who is resourceful and mature, and possess excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.
