Description

Lead a team of security professionals to design, implement, and maintain robust security operations, ensuring the resilience of security systems and protecting against cyber threats.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and Implement Security Strategy: Contribute to the definition of the overall security strategy, aligning security operations with the organisation's business objectives.
Monitor Security Systems: Develop plans for monitoring security systems, responding to cyber security incidents, and guiding the identification and measurement of critical security operations metrics.
Maintain Security Operations: Oversee planning and coordination of 24 x 7 security operations coverage, coordinate ongoing reviews of existing security programs/protocols, and monitor compliance to security policies, regulations, rules, and norms.
Respond to Security Incidents: Set internal guidelines for effective processing and escalation of incidents, review reports on incidents and breaches, and develop contingency and disaster recovery plans.
Manage Department: Oversee department management, including budgets, forecasting, work allocations, and staffing, and develop staff through ongoing coaching, mentoring, and career discussions.

Requirements:

Good diploma or degree in Computer Science, Digital Forensic, or Engineering preferred.
Professional security certification is preferable, such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or other similar security certifications.
At least 10 years of IT security experience in areas of security governance, risk management, application security design, security project management, or security operation.
Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
Added advantage to have knowledge in security technology like firewall, IPS, WAF, endpoint.
