This role offers an ideal platform for you to drive change and growth, operating as a centralised channel that bridges the gap between our editorial teams and SPH Media's commercial unit, ensuring seamless coordination and execution of editorial sponsorships, event sponsorships, and content marketing opportunities.

You'll manage multi-format content sponsorships that include video, social media, text stories and print. You must be passionate about bringing content to life, seeing it through from concept to the final performance report.

The editorial teams bring concepts to life - you run the show, on time and on budget.

Experience in client solutioning, ideation, cost projection, project management, and process optimisation, with the goal of enhancing collaboration, efficiency, and revenue generation is essential.


SPH Media is the home of Singapore's most well-known lifestyle titles, including Her World, Harper's Bazaar Singapore, HardwareZone, Home & Décor, NuYou and The Peak.

A genuine interest in entertainment and lifestyle content is essential.

This is a new role within the division. It requires exceptional multitasking abilities and savvy commercial strategy. Innovation and a desire to explore new ideas and approaches is key.

The Commercial Engagement Manager reports to the Publishing Director.


Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the commercial unit to operate as a centralised channel that optimises client engagement and maximises revenue potential.
  • Spearhead collaborative efforts with the commercial unit to refine client management strategies, focusing on delivering valuedriven experiences that work for both the client as well as the editorial product.
  • Manage the complete life cycle of multiformat sponsored content projects across the considerable roster of SPH Media's lifestyle brands. This includes project management, performance supervision, and reporting. Projects may also include an event component, run by the commercial unit.
  • Contribute to ideation process and solutioning of client briefs.
  • Manage internal stakeholders as well as external production partners to make sure a million moving parts produce content that is to brief, on time, and under budget.
  • Drive datadriven decisionmaking by developing advanced cost projection strategies aligned with emerging consumer trends.
  • Evaluate campaign performance and leverage digital analytics to continuously refine strategies for optimal outcomes.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and leverage emerging technologies to drive innovative sponsored content and sponsorship strategies.

Requirements:


  • A minimum of 6 years relevant industry experience with at least 3 years in content marketing, digital / social media marketing, advertising, public relations or media sales.
  • Clear understanding of how content is created across formats and media platforms. Experience in managing multiformat content creation is mandatory.
  • Experience in turning data and analytics into strategy and action. Basic understanding of digital analytics is a must.
  • An extraordinary gift for multitasking. Please be extremely organised and detailoriented.
  • Be able to work collaboratively and proactively.
  • Excellent Englishlanguage verbal and written skills. Our roster of lifestyle brands includes two Chineselanguage titles, so proficiency in Chinese is a bonus.
  • An innate curiosity and drive to continuously learn and adapt to changing market dynamics.
  • Able to think creatively and strategically to push boundaries and explore unconventional solutions.
  • Strong understanding of lifestyle industry and consumer trends.
  • Familiarity with SPH's editorial products is essential.
  • Must play well with others.
  • Bachelors in mass communication, marketing, business or related fields.
