Job Description/ Requirement

ResponsibilitiesWill report to Senior Legal Counsel in diverse portfolio of corporate secretarial and other corporate, commercial, compliance matters.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Manage all corporate secretarial matters.
Liaise and coordinate with Senior Management, Shareholders and Directors in regard to all corporate secretarial matters.
Draft and prepare resolutions and other relevant documents.
Assist to arrange for Notary Public for notarization, authentication, and legalization of documents.
Support business units in KYC when requiredSupport of property and intellectual property mattersSupport review of contracts and legal documents including those related to marine construction, charterparties, trade (sales, purchase, rental), tenders, financing and collaboration agreementsRendering of legal advice for commercial application and compliance requirementsReview/advise on litigation or potentially litigations cases including issuing internal legal notices of demandAny other duties under the Legal Department assignedRequirementsDiploma in law, LLB or similar legal qualificationPreferably with at least 3 to 5 years of relevant PQEExperience with marine construction, tender and charterparties will be an advantage but not vitalExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work under short deadlines in fast-paced environmentResponsible, meticulous, proactive, and organizedAbility to work as part of team and independentlyStrong drafting, negotiation, and legal analytical skills for commercial application
