    We are looking for energetic, self-motivated, eager-to-learn interns to join our EdelmanNEXT program. If you have a passion for Social or Digital (or want to find out what it's all about), have a curious mind, with a can-do attitude, come join us. About the Internship Solving business problems through marketing communications lens is an interdisciplinary challenge. We are looking for a strategy intern who has enough curiosity and courage to solve a wide range of problems. You are not expected to know everything but have enough drive to show up and find answers when faced with a problem. Adequate support and mentorship will be provided along the way. This is a full-time internship program for a period of 6 months.

    What you'll be doing

  • Provide support to the Strategy and Business Teams.
  • Assist in audience / market research activities.
  • Unearth insights in service of defining strategic goals and objectives.
  • Perform competitive analysis and identify gaps and opportunities for client projects / campaigns.
  • Learn how data insights are turned into strategic direction.
  • Understand how strategic conclusions and actionable recommendations are structured and presented.
  • Hone market research skills in agency environment.
  • Understands the various research tools available and actively use them (Newswhip, Brandwatch, GWI, Klear, Emplifi etc) to bring information and insights for better, more data-driven briefs.
  • Open to learn new tools and research sources.
  • Be a champion of one channel – IG or Tik Tok or Telegram or any other of their choosing.
  • Supports in the crafting of inspiration stimuli such as case studies, analogies and other campaigns to prompt new ideas and thinking.
  • Enjoy using online listening tools and be able to leverage them to identify relevant conversations and influencers and potential trends.

    • What is required of you

  • Preferably a student or graduate candidate in Marketing or relevant field.
  • Keen interest in Public Relations, Digital Marketing and Communications.
  • Good research and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint.
  • Background / Experience in Digital Marketing is a Plus.
  • Based in Singapore.
