    Due to continuing growth and development of Ecommerce across the Merlin's Midway attractions and brands (including Madame Tussauds, SEA LIFE, The Dungeons, LEGOLAND Discovery Centres and The Eye Brand), we are looking for an Paid Media Executive to join our team, based in Sydney.

    This is an exciting opportunity for junior ecommerce specialist, as we are in the process of growing our digital presence and paid media will be a key strategic channel to achieve our business goals.

    JOB TITLE

    Performance Marketing Executive – Midway APAC

    JOB SCOPE

    Delivers: Creates, optimise and manage our paid media campaigns across Paid search, display, and social with support from our third party agencies, as well as supporting our SEO strategy across APAC.

    Metric of success: Delivery of key campaigns across the brand portfolio effectively driving traffic, revenue and our ROI business goals

    How? Implementation and optimisation of paid media campaigns and SEO strategy

    KEY OBJECTIVES


    • Responsible to create, optimise and manage paid social and PPC campaigns alongside our agency, increasing ROI and accelerating growth of online channel


    • Day to day management of Midway's accounts include;


    • Paid search accounts from assisting on set up, managing campaigns, tracking, KPI analysis to writing on-brand ad copy


    • Paid Social campaigns, from assisting with campaign planning, creative brief, set up & activation, KPI analysis and campaign evaluation


    • Manage and support delivery of campaigns across display networks and YouTube


    • Own and deliver the paid media briefing process connecting the internal and external stakeholders together ensuring both quantity and quality of campaigns are delivered


    • Deliver weekly reporting across our paid media channels, identifying KPIs, providing insights helping drive an optimum performance


    • Coordinate the execution of SEO tasks from our agency with the local Marketing teams


    • Regularly complete competitor analysis, and communicate and share best practice ensuring this is always adhered to


    • Look for growth opportunities, through innovation and testing new approaches in the social and display space, helping to further push our brand presence

    Working relationships


    • It's essential this role acts as part of the regional trading team, they will work closely with both our Ecommerce and Marketing teams to ensure appropriate planning/sharing of best practise/being on hand to answer any questions, where required.


    • This role will also work closely with the affiliate executive, and the ecommerce optimisation managers to ensure campaigns are co- ordinated and maximise performance impact


    • Close working relationship with our agencies team to deliver consistent performance to both target and budget.


    • Collaborate with the global performance team ensuring alignment of global approach and core strategies.

    Reporting


    • Weekly reporting will be required to continually track performance against target for all channels.


    • They will partner with key attraction Stakeholders on a local basis specifically the local marketing teams to deliver a cohesive solution in line with requirements.

    SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

    Essential:


    • Good working knowledge of Google Ads (Search & Display), Facebook Ads, Salesforce Advertising Studio, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEO best practice and organic visibility tools.


    • Basic understanding of the ecommerce landscape across Asia including prominent platforms and ecommerce trends


    • Hands on experience of running paid media campaigns ideally via in house with minimal agency support


    • Proficient use of Excel to create and update reports and work with large data sets to draw insight from.


    • Be an excellent communicator and influencer.


    • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to multi task and hit the ground running within a hand on role.


    • Passionate and driven individual, who can demonstrate their enthusiasm for digital and ecommerce


    • Flexibility in adapting to fast-changing priorities and fast paced work environment.
