Geotechnical SME - Singapore - Airswift
Description
Airswift is seeking to invite an experienced Geotechnical SME to consider a short-term contract for Offshore Survey Support.Details of role and responsibilities as follows:
Reporting to the Project Director the Geotechnical SME will act as client authorized representative during offshore geotechnical survey.
Supervise the geotechnical surveyor to ensure project specifications are adhered to.
Manages safety, quality, budget, and schedule during the offshore campaign.
Leads offshore geotechnical investigation campaign, including drilling and soil sampling, to evaluate mechanical and geological properties of the seabed.
Reviews and approve offshore test results in real time.
Reviews the laboratory test results, perform engineering analyses, and compile all results into a high-quality document to be used for pipeline, PLEM, and mooring system designs.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in engineering with Geotechnical specializationExperience: At least 5 years experience working offshore – on a marine vessel, undertaking similar role and responsibilitiesPossess Laboratory Skillsand geotechnical investigation experienceExperienced in in offshore soil investigation, soil laboratory testing, penetration analysis and geohazard assessments.
