Posting Date: 4 Feb 2024You are a senior member of a dynamic strategic communications team that builds and guards SingHealth Group's profile as a trusted leader in healthcare and fosters SingHealth's aspirations in the pursuit of academic medicine.

Working across domains and institutions, you drive excellent outcomes for SingHealth and the SingHealth Duke-NUS Academic Medical Centre on internal and external platforms.


As the media relations team lead, you guide the team in executing pro-active media strategies and pitches to increase media mindshare and achieve favourable positioning of the SingHealth Duke-NUS AMC and its institutions.

Through integrated communications strategies, you constantly look into ways to elevate SingHealth's standing as a thought leader and provide strategic counsel to senior management and internal partners on issues management for a spectrum of business areas.


You oversee communications in strategic focus areas such as research, innovation, digital strategies and information technology, campus development as well as build integrated communication plans to support key domain stakeholders and drive communications initiatives and projects across the cluster.

You should possess a broad and mature mindset that views possibilities from all quarters so as to seize opportunities and translate them into high impact and meaningful communications efforts that reflect the organisation's aspirations.


Job requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree with minimum 12 years' relevant experience and strong track record in media relations, reputation and issues management in both traditional and social media
  • Excellent command of both spoken and written English; proficiency in a second language will be an advantage
  • Proven track record in management of integrated communications projects
  • Keen news sense and media network, and sound knowledge of current affairs
  • Strong leadership skills and excellent stakeholder management abilities
  • Creative, resourceful and resilient, with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Organised, meticulous and able to work well under pressure
  • Must be fully vaccinated against COVID19
