Description

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Set up, operate, and maintain specialized machines such as CNC/NC Milling Vertical/Horizontal; 3 to 5 axis, Lathe- Single/Twin Turret and/or Single/Twin spindle, Surface Grinding, Shaping, Hobbing, broaching, and conventional machines in the cell/process.
• Perform accurate inspection checks by setting up, operating, and maintaining all measuring equipment, gages, and fixtures.
• Troubleshoot and resolve simple machine issues to ensure uninterrupted production.
• Read and interpret blueprints to ensure adherence to technical instructions and drawings.
• Maintain records, shop paperwork, and work in accordance with technical instructions and drawings.
• Keep work areas, benches, and machinery tidy and clean after use.
• Notify the Supervisor promptly about machine or tooling problems that could jeopardize product quality or infringe safe work conditions.
• Act as a certified On-The-Job Training (OJT) Trainer and coach and mentor new Technicians.
• Engage in other activities or responsibilities as requested by the Supervisor.
• Demonstrate a basic command of written and spoken English.
• Able to work rotating shifts every week.
• Possess sound knowledge of CNC programming.
• Capable of comprehending technical instructions and drawings.
• Utilize Measuring instruments effectively.
• Previous manufacturing environment experience is preferred.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or Technical certification or a degree in a related field is a plus.
• Proven experience in operating and maintaining specialized machines in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Effective organizational and time management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well within a team and collaborate with colleagues.
• Flexibility to work overtime and weekends (if required)
