    Description
    Roles & Responsibilities

    Roles and Responsibilities:

    • Provide on-going 2nd/3rd level application support.
    • Liaise closely with the System Infra team on Server/OS related issues impacting application and to understand the application server architecture.
    • Evaluate potential solutions and make recommendations to resolve application problems.
    • Maintain service operations documentation and guides. Develop supporting documentation for all service operation activities.
    • Need to be good in documentation to keep updating SOP established within team.
    • Monitor service level dashboards, perform daily health monitoring, system capacity review and allocation of adequacy capacity.
    • Monitor log and rectify such as interface, webservice, etc.
    • Liaise closely with business users and build good rapport.
    • Liaise closely with vendors on issue reported, monitor the case and follow up till closure.
    • Provide 24/7 primary application maintenance standby support, when required.
    • Provide Guidance to the team member and coaching junior member

    Qualifications/ Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in computer science or other highly technical, scientific discipline
    • 3-5 yrs of Technical / Application Support experience on multi technology platforms
    • Need to know the SQL server Database concepts and have experience in working in SQL database
    • Able to commit on 24/7 standby and onsite when required
    • Need to have knowledge on the Windows server setup as our applications are hosted on windows server.
    • ITIL v3/v4 certification and strong service oriented experience / background preferred
    • Strong Knowledge and understanding of IT industry environment and business needs
    • Proven experience supporting Web / Mobile / Client based applications
