Description

Role Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities

Manages a team of direct reports, utilising the appropriate resources, networks and tools to ensure delivery against objectives and to provide performance management, technical development, guidance and coaching (where applicable).
Provides high quality legal advice on complex issues.
Acts as a thought leader in respect of legal developments that impacts LSEG.
Partners with senior leaders to provide advice on a broad range of complex matters and takes responsibility for the legal aspects of key strategic and/or commercial projects.
Supports complex business matters i.e. launch of products, negotiation of complex contracts.
Maintains and helps to develop close working relationships with relevant external counsel (with a focus on cost management).

Qualifications & Experience:

Degree or equivalent and relevant professional qualification
Significant relevant previous experience, stakeholder management and leadership experience
