Role Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities

  • Manages a team of direct reports, utilising the appropriate resources, networks and tools to ensure delivery against objectives and to provide performance management, technical development, guidance and coaching (where applicable).
  • Provides high quality legal advice on complex issues.
  • Acts as a thought leader in respect of legal developments that impacts LSEG.
  • Partners with senior leaders to provide advice on a broad range of complex matters and takes responsibility for the legal aspects of key strategic and/or commercial projects.
  • Supports complex business matters i.e. launch of products, negotiation of complex contracts.
  • Maintains and helps to develop close working relationships with relevant external counsel (with a focus on cost management).

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Degree or equivalent and relevant professional qualification
  • Significant relevant previous experience, stakeholder management and leadership experience
