You will work primarily with the Human Resources team but there will be opportunities for collaboration with other divisions in the bank to build the bank's employer brand.

    How it Works:
    You will be responsible for crafting our stories. From interviews with our staff to covering the myriad of staff events - you'll work closely with the HR Marketing team to produce content for our social media channels on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and TikTok. You will be expected to work with the HR marketing team to produce stories in written or visual forms.

    What you do:
    You will use video and audio equipment to research, write and produce digital assets for the appropriate channel.
    You may be required to present the content in video or audio assets, as well as post-production work.
    You will work with stakeholders to understand their communication needs and their objectives for the target audience and formulate a marketing communications plan to meet their desired objective. There will be multiple projects at once, so you will have to plan required resources and deliver within deadlines.

    Qualifications
    Who you are:
    The ideal candidate will have:
    • Experience in covering corporate events, interviewing people and crafting stories for a broad audience.
    • Social Media Savviness: In-dept knowledge and experience with various social media platforms and should understand the best practices for each platform and be able to optimise content for maximum reach and engagement.
    • Strong English writing skills and a flair for aesthetics - being confident in taking photos or videos is a plus.
    • Inquisitive and have strong research skills to gather accurate and reliable information.
    • Collaboration and Communication are necessary to coordinate and align content strategies.
    • Newsroom experience: Previous experience working in a newsroom or similar fast-paced environment can be advantageous. It provides exposure to reporting processes, deadlines, and the ability to work under pressure.
    • Journalism or Communications Diploma or Degree
