Overview of role

The Technical Specialist role is an entry level role for individuals who are inspired by hands-on technical support work such as execution of routine lab experiments. This work is a vital part of the R&D team. In this role, the Technical Specialist will onboard to P&G systems and perform the basic and critical technical laboratory work for day-to-day operations. Your team

Located at the P&G Singapore Innovation Center at Biopolis, you will be part of the Fabric Care Fragrance R&D organization here in Singapore. You will have the opportunity to work with the different partners within your team, other functions and external partners.

How success looks like

Success in this role is based on ability to execute basic lab experiments accurately, on time, with excellence, and able to communicate the results/ observations with team members. With enough time and training, it is expected that the Technical Specialist would require minimum supervision to perform his/her work.

Key Responsibilities

• Routine & repetitive execution of basic lab experiments like perfume compounding and product making
• Assist in perfume and product evaluations
• Assist in creation of stability protocols and placement of stability studies
• Assist in creation of registration documents
• Provide support for import/export of product samples including packing & labelling of the samples
• Handle purchasing and shipment of materials in partnership with supporting functions
• Manage inventories of various materials

Job Qualifications

• Diploma qualification
• 3+ years of relevant experience in a R&D Perfume Lab setting
• Able to provide timely support for research activities, solid skills in the use of Microsoft applications is needed such as Word and Excel
• Adequate oral and written communication skills in English for common business are a must
• Able to work independently and manage priorities to deliver the outcomes in a timely manner
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to connect with people from different cultures and levels
• High level of attention to detail
