    About the Role

    Senior Business Analyst plays the role of functional support who has key responsibility in providing business knowledge to perform impact analysis and propose functional solution to achieve the business needs in effective and cost-efficient manner.

    Primary role includes:
    • Support existing AIAS employee benefits admin system, as well as new projects implementation and BAU enhancement.
    • Drive business scooping session and ensuring quality of business requirement documents and deliver within agreed timeline.
    • Involve and take full responsible for functional deliverables with quality, such as user story, test plan, conduct QA testing prior releasing to user for UAT and support pre/post-production deployment verification.
    • Analyse and review functional specification prepared by the technical team to ensure technical solution meets and covers all user's requirement.
    • Follow up sign off of every deliverable with business user, such as user story/requirement or UAT sign off.
    • Closely work with business users and IT/Vendor team in all system development / implementation phases
    • Proactively identify risks, escalate to manager for implementing controls to effectively manage the risk.
    • Understand and adhere to company's SDLC, quality procedures, and other IT security, risk and compliance standard.

    Minimum Job Requirements:
    • Diploma or Degree in Business, Insurance Studies, or Information Technology
    • A minimum of 4 years working experience as BA. Must have experience in Group/Life Insurance Industry
    • Professional qualification in Life Insurance i.e Chartered Institute of Insurance (CII), Life Office Management Association (LOMA) will be a value-added advantage

    • Strong communication/interpersonal skills
    • Proactive, able to multi-tasks effectively and self-motivated with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage to change priorities.
    • Possess analytical thinking and problem-solving skill.
    • Articulate and proficient in written and spoken English.
    • Possess hands-on technologies skills, such as MS SQL, Jira, Confluence, MS Office, File transfer with encryption, and understand IT security and data protection requirement.

    • Explains information and persuades others in straightforward situations.

    • Makes decisions for own work priorities and allocation of time to meet deadlines.
