    JR48588 QEM QDM - Quality Deviation Engineer (Evergreen)

    As a Quality Deviation Management Engineer, you will be responsible for investigating and improving scrap/CQDR and deviation events. One of your key responsibility is to facilities the root cause understanding, implement corrective and preventive measures using the 8 Diagnostics methodology. You will also to work with various stakeholders for long term solutions for deviation trends, review all deviations for accuracy, verify or validate deviation metrics and gather input on critical opportunities. You will also to build on the Quality Culture and knowledge for the Fab through Campaign, Workshops and Tutorials.

    Responsibilities and Tasks:

  • Coordinate deviation evaluations with the deviations owners
  • Facilitate root cause analysis and systematic troubleshooting efforts
  • Drive accountability of actions and follow-up
  • Validate root causes are supported by data
  • Maintain documentation for excursions
  • Help to resolve roadblocks and provide guidance for deviation questions
  • Identify deviation detection deficiency and drive for early detection
  • Manage global and internal lessons learned systems
  • Improve cross-area event response methods and procedures
  • Communicate and translate corporate Quality goals
  • Publish excursion performance to management
  • Facilitate excursion review meetings
  • Develop and Enhance Quality knowledge through Workshops and Tutorial
  • Promote Quality Culture through Quality Campaign, quizzes, competitions and engagement program.

    Bachelors Degree·

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
  • Related field of study
  • Experience

  • Experience in Quality Deviation Management preferred but not a requirement. Fresh graduate are welcome.
  • Qualifications

  • Familiarity with NAND process flow, manufacturing flow, product testing, and quality and deviation management systems
  • Familiarity with PCS solutions including experience evaluating and understanding SPC
  • Experience with problem solving methodologies such as Kepner-Tregoe, FMEA, 8D, or 5 whys is preferable
  • Proficiency with MESQDR, MES, SOX, Engineering Tool Box (TPP program), Y3, GES, and extraction and reporting tools
  • Demonstrated knowledge of quality impact on downgraded material by QRA and Supply Chain group
  • Leadership and project/program management skills are very important in this role
  • Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects
  • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Proven skills in team building between different departments
  • Demonstrated capability in managing and prioritizing projects
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Proven ability to analyze and report data in order to drive improvement efforts
  • Ability to facilitate meetings and achieve cross area engagement
  • Ability to train team members both in a classroom setting and individually
