Description
CHEF / Cook is responsible for the creation of high quality dishes in his role as part of the kitchen team and duties include:

  • To assist the Head Chef in the organisation and controlling of all kitchen operations.
  • To organise and lead the cooks in the food preparation.
  • To go for outdoor caterings, as and when required, to take orders and work as captain and hall in charge as per the restaurant requirements.
  • Help in dish washing, kitchen cleaning and other chores given to you as and when required.
  • To COOK ALL KINDS OF SOUTH INDIAN FOOD, TIFFIN ITEMS, CURRY ETC.
- ensure complete customer satisfaction, through provision and quality, control of food, hygiene and service adopting a customer-focussed approach at all times.

  • To communicate effectively with front staff, cooks and Chef in the execution of task.
  • To ensure the kitchen is always clean, tidy and hygienic.
  • To assist in the job training of junior chefs and trainees.
  • To ensure that lights, electric, gas and water is not used unnecessarily.
  • To be able to control waste with good stock rotation, ordering and temperature control.
  • To comply and maintain all Health and Safety standards within the kitchen and the Hall.
  • AT LEAST TWO YEARS EXPERIENCE AS Chef any INDIAN RESTAURANT.

MUST BE ABLE TO COOK SPECIFIC TO THE CUSTOMERS REQUIREMENTS, LIKE SPECIAL MENU ITEMS LIKE Rabdi Malpua, Dal Dhokli, Khoba Roti, Ram Khichdi, Dudhi Muthiya, Ram Khichdi and many more.

HIGH PRESCENCE OF MIND IN ATTENDING TO CUSTOMERS COMPLAINTS.
