[What the role is]


As an Assistant Director (Decision Support& Financial Analysis Department) in the Finance Division, you will be a Strategic Business Partner to divisions to provide valued-added financial advisory support and drive engagement and develop finance transformation workstreams with the use of business intelligence and advanced analytics.

[What you will be working on]

You will be responsible for the following:

  • Engage business units to establish workstreams using business intelligence and advanced analytics solutions
  • Establish data structure, maintain and update data matrix and provide data tables to be built into business intelligence dashboards
  • Maintain data models, business intelligence dashboards and advanced analytics solutions
  • Evaluate strategic projects in terms of project costing, review of assumptions and methodologies and recommendation of appropriate funding sources
  • Assess financial feasibility of projects through financial modelling
  • Analyse divisions' monthly financial performances via the digital platform/solutions
  • Develop digital financial operating models/solutions to evaluate divisions' operating/development budget requirements
  • Monitor budget utilisation of departments via business intelligence solutions
  • Provide financial advisory support to divisions and offer guidance to aid decision making
  • Provide support for adhoc projects and assignments
[What we are looking for]

  • Degree in Accountancy or Finance or Business or equivalent (i.e. ACCA)
  • Chartered Accountant would have an added advantage
  • 310 years of relevant working experience of financial advisory roles and business analytic skillset
  • Strong analytical skills, with strategic thinking
  • Strong financial modelling and Microsoft excel skills
  • Proficiency in Analytics solutions like Qlik Sense would be an added advantage
  • Proactive, positive, assertive and willing to accept challenges
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to maintain relationships at all levels in the organization
  • Able to keep abreast of fastpaced changes and developments
  • Able to multitask and work under pressure
  • Team player with good written, communication and presentation skills
  • You will be working in a fastpaced and highly volatile environment that would require the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders at the same time
