Senior Engineer - Singapore - MIZUHO RESEARCH & TECHNOLOGIES ASIA PTE. LTD.
Description
Responsibilities:
- Manage projects, which includes resolving issues, controlling vendors/ resources/ schedules, and preparing reports to Management, the Bank and Head Office for approval if required.
- Managing schedule, issues and resources of the projects and accomplish it as planned.
- Creating PowerPoint slides to explain the status, issues and progress of the project.
- Creating documents such as Development Plan, Basic & Detail Design Document, Test Plan, Migration Plan, and Completion Report.
- Preparing quotation of the projects by liaising with vendors.
- Utilizing interface systems to do the mapping of database fields.
- Conducting Q & A with interface systems.
- Consult with the Bank to define system requirement for system development/ maintenance.
- Design infrastructure, if required, or helping members or vendors to design infrastructure to meet users or system requirements.
- Specifying Application design based on requirements.
- Reviewing of design documents delivered by vendors.
- Coordinating all processes to ensure they are progressing smoothly for the Bank and developers/vendors, Head Office relevant development team.
- Strictly comply with Mizuho Development Policy and Procedures.
Job Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in Project Management position in banking IT sector.
- Knowledge and experience in banking business such as loan, import/export, remittance, deposit, market, SWIFT, and ISO2002
- Coordination skills to handle various parties, both local and international clients, vendors and counterparts.
