- Proficiently diagnose and repair various components, including liquid propane, gas, and diesel engines, electric motors, transmissions, drive axles, differentials, hydraulic systems, brake systems, steering systems, and electrical systems.
- Make necessary equipment repairs or modifications based on thorough analysis of customer equipment.
- Facility Maintenance and Preventive Tasks:
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on forklifts and other related equipment.
- Conduct equipment testing as assigned.
- Inspect equipment to identify potential problems and safety concerns.
- Electrical Systems Expertise:
- Change out ballasts, light switches, and fuses.
- Read and understand electrical and hydraulic schematics
- Travel to customer site via company vehicle.
- Properly block, chock, and chain equipment.
- Disassemble equipment as needed to facilitate major component removal and repair.
- Analyze and diagnose customer equipment problems and breakdowns.
- Class 3 or 4 Driving Licence
- Min GCE O Level, ITC, Nitec in Electrical, Mechanical or Automotive Technology
- 1+ years' repair & service experience in forklift or heavy machinery or heavy vehicle of related industry or automotive
