Job Summary:

The Training Manager is responsible for developing and implementing training programs for staff at White Restaurant.

This role ensures that our employees receive the necessary skills, knowledge, and training to deliver exceptional customer service and maintain the high standards of our cuisine.


Training Program and Material Development:

  • Design and develop training programs tailored to the needs of different restaurant staff, including servers, chefs, and kitchen staff.
  • Collaborate with department heads to identify training needs and content.
  • Create and update training materials, manuals and resources.
  • Build online training and assessment tools for new and existing staff.

Training Delivery:

  • Conduct training sessions, workshops, and orientations for new and existing employees.
  • Ensure consistency in training across all restaurant locations.
  • Mentor and coach trainers to maintain a high standard of training delivery in the outlets.

Assessment and Feedback:

  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and gather feedback from employees.
  • Modify training content and methods as needed to improve performance.
  • Maintain records of training sessions, attendance, and employee performance.

Compliance and Standards:

  • Ensure that all staff adhere to food safety regulations, restaurant policies, and quality standards.
  • Monitor compliance with health and safety guidelines.

Customer Service Management:

  • To check online reviews and feedback, consolidate for outlets knowledge and improvements.
  • Act as a liaison to customer feedback and work with the Ops management team for service recovery.

Ad hoc Duties:
Any other duties pertaining to training and customer service.


Job Requirements:


  • WSQ Advanced Certificate in Training and Assessment (ACTA) certified or other relevant training educational qualifications.
  • To possess facilitation skills.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience, preferably from F&B industry.
  • Effectively bilingually in English and Mandarin (to liaise with Mandarin speaking staff).
  • Selfstarter and able to work independently.
