    Get to know our Team:
    The Singapore Operations team oversees, shapes and grows the business in Grab Singapore.

    We contribute towards Grab's vision of being Southeast Asia's superapp by providing everyday services that matter most to consumers in Singapore.

    We develop and execute business strategies that help us achieve our vision in serving our community.
    As part of the Singapore Operations team, the Strategy team is responsible for the overall Singapore Country Strategy and works on top agenda, high impact projects spanning across all the business lines in Singapore (e.g. GrabPay, GrabFood, GrabCar, GrabMart).This role sits in the Strategy & Strategic Projects team within the Strategy & Partnerships functional team.


    Get to know the Role:


    This role will be supporting the Strategy & Strategic Projects Head and Team in conducting and presenting studies on strategic topics for Grab Singapore and coordinating cross functional strategic initiatives, with the opportunity to interact with senior executives for strategy brainstorming.

    Ensure a well-coordinated Country Strategy for Singapore, by coordinating with other Grab teams (both local & regional) and facilitating cross-team collaboration

    Support planning & analysis of high impact strategic initiatives


    This includes:
    Conducting research and data analysis

    Structuring and helping with issue identification and solutioning

    Advising on the practicalities of implementation, and providing executional / project management support

    Support strategic discussions with external partners

    Support updates to senior management across multiple business lines

    Qualifications

    The must haves:
    Strong academic track record, with a degree in Finance / Business / Economics / Management

    1-3 years of relevant working experience - for example, Analytics, Business Intelligence, Management Consulting, Strategy roles (especially in tech companies)

    Proficiency in SQL

    Intellectually curious self-starter who takes the initiative to challenge the status quo

    Highly analytical and able to problem solve, think & debate strategically

    Strong communicator (written and verbal), with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders across functions at all levels of experience

    Able to work independently in a fast-paced and fluid environment

    Good to have:
    Working understanding of Python / R

    A big-picture thinker who is detail-oriented

    Creativity and comfortable with 'blank sheet of paper' assignments
