Description
Assist the Resident Engineer in conducting supervision works on site and coordinate with other Resident Technical Officers.

  • Implement quality control measures for civil, structural, and architectural works.
  • Maintain daily site records, including progress updates, instructions to contractors, materials deliveries, site activities, weather conditions, visitor logs, and other pertinent information.
  • Supervise and document day works on site.
  • Attend site and coordination meetings as directed.
  • Conduct site inspections, including offsite manufacturing, precast concrete, and structural steel fabrication, to ensure work quality and accuracy.
  • Monitor work progress on site and at offsite facilities, promptly reporting any delays.
  • Provide standing supervision when required by contractors or directed by the Architect or Site Owner.
  • Maintain accurate daily records of all work activities, including tests, inspections, work status, safety measures, site diaries, materials, equipment, labor, day works, and provisional quantities.
  • Verify and oversee preliminary items executed by the contractor.
  • Check service routes and contractor's setting out, reporting any deviations to the Architect or Site Owner.
  • Verify reports and claims submitted by contractors.
  • Document all variations instructed or approved by the Architect or Site Owner.
  • Address contractor queries and coordinate main contractor and direct contractors/suppliers on site.
  • Inspect and approve completed works.
  • Undertake other projectrelated duties as instructed by the Architect or Site Owner.
  • Review drawings and documents, reporting any discrepancies.
  • Monitor site safety, security, and housekeeping.
  • Compile the BSL Quarterly Report.
  • Ensure site cleanliness for inspection by the Main Contractor.
  • Verify that all constructed works comply with approved authorities' drawings before any inspections.
  • Ensure compliance with escape route widths, stairs, handrails, and door specifications.
  • Ensure compliance with handicapped accessibility requirements.
  • Assist consultants in organizing formal inspections.
  • Ensure timely response and rectification of any comments or nonconformances from authority departments within specified deadlines.

Job Requirements:

  • Experience in Alteration and Addition (A&A) projects for occupied buildings.

Pay:
$4, $6,500.00 per month
