- Assist in manpower and resource scheduling and deployment, daily man-hour returns and coordinate all aspects of site issues for repair projects
- Liaise with surveyors and comply with inspection requirements
- Monitor job progress and ensure quality work at targeted schedule
- Study and evaluate the work processes and methods of the department and explore new ideas to improve work quality and productivity
- Resolve any technical problems or issues with Designer, contractors, class & owner
- Evaluate technical and engineering requirements of the jobs
- Obtain and monitor drawings and technical information
- Prepare reports on job status and project completion
- Conduct Risk Assessment and hazard reporting
- Diploma in Marine/Mechanical Engineering or related fields
- Preferably with 2-5 years' working experience in a shipyard
- Interest in onsite production coordination and management work
- Possess understanding of technical drawings and basic mechanical works
- Resourceful, committed, independent and a good team player
- Able to communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders
- Able to work under outdoor conditions: heat, grease and dust
- Able to work on some weekends, dependent on project timeline and requirements

- 5 days work week
- Working Hours: 7.25am-5pm
