**About the job

This position reports to the Trust Manager and/or Head of Trust, and is responsible for the effective management of resources dedicated to the administration of trusts, companies and associated entities.


Your responsibilities will include:


  • Ensuring high quality service to all intermediaries and clients by supporting Trust Manager/Head of Trust in delivering upon opportunities to drive up levels of client service.
  • Ensuring that trust provisions, policies, procedures and relevant legislation are adhered to at all times.
  • Dayto day duties includes attend to client queries, coordinate trust account activities, carry out trustee function, and properly document the account files.
  • Assist in bank account opening documents, trust review packs and documents for Trust Manager/Head of Trust.
  • Ensure that all accounts met regulatory requirements and to report any breaches.
  • Reading trust deeds documents and sanctions transactions prepared, using expert judgment to verify whether client instructions are in accordance with trust documents.
  • Maintaining vigilant knowledge of potential problems or potential risks/consequences as a result of inefficiency administration, i.e. the late settlement of investment transactions, corporate actions, foreign currency exchanges or other risks to clients.
  • Implementing appropriate actions to minimize risk exposure, and advising management of impending problems in a timely manner.
  • Acting as a representative of the Trust Company to colleagues, and supporting staff in understanding, advising and interpreting terms of trusts.
  • Maintaining efficient communications with the managers, staff and professional advisors of clients as required.
  • Performing any other duties as assigned by management.

Your qualifications and skills include:


  • At least a Diploma with 1 to 2 years' experience in Trust industry
  • TEP (Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners) designation would be considered an asset, or a commitment to completion of the designation.
  • The role will be on contract for the first 6 months, which will be converted to a permanent role after competency is deemed satisfactory.
  • Superior skills in communication, interpersonal, team, client service, organization, problemsolving and administration.
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask and effectively collaborate/manage change within a deadline oriented, customerfocused and diverse environment.
