Clinical Psychologist - Singapore - TMVC SINGAPORE PTE LTD
Description
The Clinical Psychologist (Adult) will work in collaboration with the General Practitioners at IMC to assess and diagnose mental health disorders, develop, and implement treatment plans, and provide ongoing support and counselling.
The Clinical Psychologist (Adult) is responsible for providing comprehensive psychological assessment and treatment services to adults with a variety of mental health conditions, particularly depression and anxiety.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments, including interviews, mental status exams, and psychological testing
- Diagnose mental health disorders
- Develop and implement treatment plans
- Provide individual, couples, and family therapy
- Provide ongoing support, monitoring and counselling of patients with mood disorders
- Collaborate with other professionals to provide a coordinated approach to care
- Assesses patient progress and modifies treatment programs accordingly; communicates with and counsels family members as appropriate.
- Documents therapy in accordance with policies and procedures regarding medical records; implements and adheres to policies which ensure patient confidentiality.
- Work in collaboration with General Practitioners within the organization to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Contribute to develop and implement psychological aspects of Lifestyle Medicine services.
- Assist in implementing clinical workflows and best practices, including quality and timely case management.
- Participates in educational programs, inclinic/medical governance meetings, conduct talks and workshops when required.
- Develop, organize and manage mental healthrelated training and educational materials for social platforms.
Requirements:
- Masters' degree in Clinical Psychology with practical training
- At least 5 years of related experience in hospital or clinical setting
- Experience working in private practice
- Fully Registered and/or eligible for registration with professional psychological bodies, such as the Singapore Psychological Society
- Embraces innovation in the way mental health is approached
- Good analytical and problemsolving skills
- Exceptional interpersonal and influencing skills
- Proficiency in crosscultural settings
- Experience Lifestyle Medicine and holistic health psychology is preferred
- Ability to maintain and ensure timely and highquality clinical documentation
- Proficient in MS Office and clinic patient management systems
