Junior Quant Analyst.

Responsibilities:

Conduct original quantitative trading alpha signal research using ideas relevant but not limited to; market microstructure and the price discovery process, determinants of spreads and quotes, participants trading behaviours, private transaction cost data and statistical machine learning techniques
Manage all aspects of the strategy development process, including data analysis, hypothesis testing, backtesting, signal implementation and posttrade analysis
Maintain and improve current trading infrastructure used for daily operations

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Data Analytics, Economics, or other related disciplines
0 to 2 years of working experience (fresh graduates strongly welcomed to apply)
Strong coding capability in Python is a must
Experience with SQL is a plus
Experience working in a Linux environment is a plus
Willingness to take ownership of their work
Detailoriented work ethic
Able to operate both independently and collaboratively within a team
Having concise and effective communication skills
Possess decisive thinking capability with the ability to not only perform but thrive in a dynamic and fastpaced professional trading environment
