Job Responsibilities

Support and guide the inhouse customer teams and capability, and operation of the Veritas NBU solution Including NBU operational support
Monitors and manages their NetBackup and NetBackup Flex Scale environment
Provide guidance to the customer team for performing a version upgrade of the NetBackup infrastructure
Validate the NetBackup configuration environment
Accelerate feature & function adoption
Gap Analysis for technology features
Create Operational Methodology
Assist in the stabilization and optimization of NetBackup Operations.
Requestbased monitoring of services for NetBackup as confirmed by the customer.
Analysis and resolution of NetBackup technical issues highlighted by the customer Operation team.
Assist the customer operations team with the escalation of unresolved technical issues to Veritas Support;
Conduct monthly status meetings and document activities and findings.
Assist customer operations team with configuration requests (if required);
Validating the installed NetBackup solutions
Provide customer knowledge transfer sessions
Guide technology & operational improvement
Proactive & reactive support assistance
Transition Runbook creation

Expedited Response:

Provide proactive and reactive advice on issues regarding upgrades, patches, and Product alerts.
Coordinate with Veritas Technical Support for product issue escalations to assist in expedited resolution and to reduce unplanned downtime; and
Assist in troubleshooting and providing technical details for probable cause analysis of critical issues encountered.
