Job Description:

• Conduct a comprehensive assessment of licensing requirements for operating a food shop in Singapore.
• Identify and compile a list of all necessary licenses, permits, and certifications required for our specific food shop operation.
• Prepare and submit applications for food shop licenses to the relevant authorities, such as the National Environment Agency (NEA) and other government agencies.
• Liaise with regulatory bodies to ensure timely processing and approval of license applications.
• Stay updated with changes in regulations and licensing requirements related to food shops in Singapore.
• Advise management on compliance matters and recommend strategies to maintain regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as operations managers and legal counsel, to address any compliance issues or concerns.
• Assist in developing and implementing standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure ongoing compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Conduct regular audits and inspections to monitor compliance with licensing conditions and regulations.
• Provide training and guidance to staff members on compliance-related matters.

Qualifications:

• Relevant certificate in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in regulatory compliance, preferably in the food and beverage industry.
• In-depth knowledge of licensing requirements and regulations governing food shops in Singapore.
• Strong understanding of the application process for food shop licenses and permits.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
