Position Overview:

The Clinical Marketing Manager, Asia Pacific is a regional position driving the strategic value proposition of clinical assay for different disease state within Lab Solution Business Area in Siemens Healthcare.


Responsibilities / Dimensions:


  • Act as a driver and facilitator within the APJ zone to drive the successful development and implementation of strategic marketing and sales activities for various disease state in Central Lab Solutions and Specialty Lab Solutions business area.
  • Subject matter experts in selected disease state.
  • Create marketing strategy and value proposition for specific focus assay groups, including but not limited to ideation, prioritization, pricing positioning, launch process, promotion, internal and external training activities.
  • Plan the launch of new assay and manage crossfunctional implementation of the plan across APJ.
  • Work with global and country marketing managers to design reagent promotion / growth strategies and provide constant feedback for strategic improvement.
  • Collaborate with Clinical Marketing in other zones for knowledge sharing.
  • Develop and maintain market intelligence on customer buying criteria and competition positioning.
  • Represent APJ zone in all assay & clinical related discussion with global assay marketing / scientific team.
  • Create and maintain APJ KOL database and build speaker pool for specific assay panel to boost reagent sales.
  • Receive and develop training materials regarding disease state management. Provide scientific training to sales, marketing, and business partner staff when necessary.

Education:

Master's degree in scientific discipline or higher is required.


Knowledge/skills and Experience:


  • At least 10 years working experience in Diagnostics & Healthcare field.
  • In depth knowledge of clinical diagnostics assays and disease state management is essential.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage channel effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Proven record of accomplishment in leading and working effectively with crossfunctional teams, including product marketing, sales, operations, and finance.
  • Excellent people and communication skills to interact with Associates, strategic partners, crossfunctional and global teams, and customers.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate crossculturally.
  • Flexibility to travel globally and to different APJ countries for various internal or external commercial activities up to 35% of the time.
