Director of Assembly and Packaging Operations - Singapore - Screenovate
Description
External Manufacturing Production team (EMP) is a department within Global External Manufacturing and Sourcing (GEMS) chartered with enabling world-class collaboration and execution with our 3rd party Foundry, Assembly and Test suppliers.
EMP seeks a dynamic Director of Assembly and Packaging Operations Management for, but not limited to:
- Manage Assembly operations and drive manufacturing excellence
- Support transfer of products to HVM post qualification. Engage with internal partners to familiarize w/ product features and assess Assembly readiness gaps
- Drive Assembly yield improvement, cycle time reduction and value engineering activities. Define and monitor relevant KPIs. Perform indepth data analysis.
- Address major production issues including rootcause analysis. Drive Continuous Improvement Plan (CIP) to meet PPAC, quality, and supply goals. Manage process changes and support WIP conversion
- Oversee and drive HVP (High Value problems) and taskforces across EMP.
- Develop and drive cost reduction roadmap. Harvest value engineer ideas and execute project to drive cost reduction and Leadtime improvement
- Drive OSAT manufacturing sites/equipment/process qual and validation to meet HVM demand
- Drive Excursion Reduction Program (ERP) with suppliers. Drive excursion rootcause understanding (MRB, DRB, QA). Review supplier 8D and enforce followup corrective actions
- Coordinate internal partners w/ Supplier Quality Assessment (SQA) and audits
- Establish strong partnership w/ supplier and customer.

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications
- 20+ years of experience in the semiconductor industry
- 10+ years managing a team of engineers
- 10 + years of relevant experience leading External foundry and OSAT operations
Preferred Qualifications
- Lean Six Sigma certification
- Deep knowledge of external foundry or OSAT manufacturing and engineering, Fabless foundry and OSAT operations and roadmap
- Demonstrated familiarity with Intel Business Unit organizations and product roadmap for CPU, XPU product lines.
