This role is for a Business Finance Analyst at an institutional level, responsible for monitoring and reporting financial data related to IT expenses for various IT projects, operating costs, and manpower expenses.

Working closely with the IT team, finance departments, and key stakeholders, this person will play a vital role in providing analysis reports to ensure smooth financial operations.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Business finance management and reporting
  • Billing Tracking
    • Process invoices and provide necessary supporting documents for validation.
    • Raise claims for prior payments.
  • Budget and utilization monitoring and reporting
    • Provide real-time budget details to stakeholders.
    • Perform year-end accounting tasks.
    • Submit monthly reports with detailed justifications for variances.
    • Prepare annual IT expenditure reports.
  • Funding and utilization monitoring and reporting
    • Verify billed items for accurate claim submissions.
    • Prepare cash flow status reports for funded projects.
    • Submit progress reports for funded projects.
  • Budgeting and Billing
    • Assist in annual budgeting exercises.
    • Prepare work plan documents.
    • Monitor service charges.
  • Others
    • Support in data provision and reporting.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Finance or Accountancy.
  • 3-5 years of experience in finance, reporting, and budget monitoring.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality.
  • Excellent written and communication skills.
  • Great interpersonal skills and stakeholder engagement experience.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to prioritize work efficiently.
  • Experience in financial management.
