Summary:


As the Cargo Flow Officer, you will manage your assigned services for the Intra-Asia Trade and work towards achieving the objective of ensuring optimization of full containers and maximizing the ships with empty evacuation.


To perform well in this role, you should be someone who works well under pressure to meet multiple timelines, as well as have a logical mind to solve problem and make decision amidst ad-hoc incidents.


Main Responsibilities:

Achieve optimal utilization to support the weekly flow of cargo and equipment supply across the network in Asia region

Maintain planned and unplanned roll over or overbooking situation within acceptable and manageable level though planning and coordination with Line Management and Commercial team

Achieve lowest network recovery costs, taking into consideration cargo time sensitivities and cost implication.

Collect and monitor the information from agents and master on board

Evaluate and analyze the ports and vessels operations performance

Implementation of action to be taken to involve agent such as dispatch of allocations

Generate cargo flow reports and support cargo flow team on a daily basis


Minimum Requirements:

Minimum a Diploma Holder from recognized institutions, preferably in shipping or logistics and/or with at least 1 year of working experience in transportation or logistics industry would be preferred

Good knowledge of the maritime industry

Proficient in MS Excel (Vlookup / Pivot Table) would be highly preferred

Good communication and analytical skills
