Analyst Transportation Ii - Singapore - DONALDSON FILTRATION (ASIA PACIFIC) PTE LTD
Description
Ensure satisfactory day to day and strategic transportation operations related to APAC logistics, including freight quotes, track and trace, escalations, and critical/expedited support.
- Analyze and optimize the APAC logistics network to meet company requirements for delivery and cost.
- Work with freight forwarders to support strategic logistics plan as well as negotiate rates, manage compliance and monitor performance.
- Develop transportation scorecards, manage APAC Transportation KPI's and participate in quarterly business reviews.
- Develop internal and external APAC SOP's; train and monitor for effectiveness.
- Analyze data, develops reports, and uses critical thinking to validate current processes and adjusts as needed.
- Publish and maintain supplier and intercompany routing instructions as well as assure routing guide compliance.
- Conduct logistics procurement activities and perform benchmark assessments to ensure competitive pricing.
- Supports manufacturing and distribution facilities, procurement, engineering, and manufacturing transfer groups.
- Support in APAC Transportation tactics and initiatives.
- Support in any other activities deem necessary.
Job Requirement
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business management or related field.
- Minimum 2 years professional level logistics experience.
- To be able to communicate across level, organizational and problemsolving skills.
- Exceptional analytical skills, strong functional knowledge of MS Excel.
- Proven experience working with large data projects.
- Direct experience quoting and booking international air and ocean freight.
- Direct experience with logistics procurement, contract negotiations, and rate management.
- Demonstrated knowledge of INCOTERMS 2010, IATA, IMDG and IMO standards.
- Basic knowledge of lean principles and DMAIC Process.
- Experience working with Oracle EBS, and Power BI a plus.
- APICS CSCP, CPIM, CSCP or CLTD a plus
- Microsoft Office Specialist a plus.
- Good spoken and written English.
- Domestic travel when required and on need base
