    Description
    Roles & Responsibilities

    What you'll do:

    You will be joining the Fundraising and Volunteer Management department, where the funds raised by the team will support needy heart patients and their families through uncertain times and sustain Singapore Heart Foundation's (SHF) ongoing rehabilitation and community outreach programmes.

    Responsibilities

    1. Work with team to manage existing donor database and donor relations
    2. Provide strong stewardship to existing donors, stakeholders, corporations and partners
    3. Actively prospect for new donors to contribute towards SHF's programmes and events through various channels
    4. Solicit and acquire new philanthropic gifts from both existing, new and prospective donors, including SHF legacy giving programme
    5. Work with internal and external stakeholders to identify new philanthropic opportunities
    6. Draft proposals and presentations to present SHF's case for corporate and donor support and sponsorship
    7. Organise internal and external fundraising campaigns and events
    8. Work with outreach programmes team to raise awareness of heart health
    9. Work with finance team to ensure compliance with legislation and policies pertaining to charities and gifts
    10. Report progress of fund raising activities to management
    11. Perform other related duties incidental to the work or as assigned by the supervisor
    12. Design strategies for engaging volunteers to attract, retain, and optimize their contributions to support SHF's programs.

    Requirements

    1. Bachelor degree preferred, with minimum 5 years of experience in fundraising and volunteer management functions or similar capacity

    2. Comparable experience in client facing roles, non-profit organisations, digital marketing, and business development strongly favoured

    3. Proven track record and outstanding performance in a target-based environment

    4. Strong interpersonal skills - effective client engagement, relationship building, partnership development and working with stakeholders, especially in non-profit and healthcare

    5. Excellent communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills

    6. Creative problem-solving and good project management skills

    7. Good network with corporations, foundations, donors is desired

    8. Highly internet savvy, with good MS Office skills
