Ocean Infinity is seeking a
Head of Fleet Management to develop and steer the offshore fleet from new building(s) into operation to be overall responsible for the technical and operational (ship management) aspects of the owned fleet in the start-up phase as the vessels are delivered and commence operations.

What will you do:


  • Take the leading role in liaising with the new building team and ensure a seamless handover from the newbuilding team to the operations team at delivery from the yard and onto operational phase for each vessel.
  • Responsible for the preparation within the Asset team for the delivery of the Armada fleet, including permits, licenses, certification, safety cases etc.
  • Responsible for the up manning of vessels and associated staff
  • Tracking and perform quality controls of the delivery of projects to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Ensure internal communication in terms of work progress, activities and budget status is timely and according to standard.
  • Promote safety and the implementation of a robust, state of the art HSE system including promoting a corporate culture focused on HSE.
  • Work closely with the Head of RCC to ensure vessel and RCC operations work hand in glove and are optimized to the highest degree
  • Work closely with the CCO to market the vessels and give feedback into the commercial plans ensuring the vessels are utilized in the most optimal and economic way
  • Constantly plan and adapt the vessel schedule to ensure maximized utilisation
  • Work closely with the technical and engineering department including the crew to strive to optimize fuel consumption
  • Ensure correct and optimum utilization of resources and capabilities both internally and externally.
  • Promoting and exploring green solutions in all steps of the supply chain and in the delivery of the vessels including their specifications and capabilities.
  • Ensure that a continuous flow of information on progress, specifications and capabilities for each vessel is shared with the Sales and Marketing team and facilitate and host client site visits and meetings as required.
  • Act as a link between the new building team and the existing Asset team in terms of specifications and requirements in order to ensure the product.
  • Interface with and support wider Ocean Infinity to define, implement and develop strategies around vessels and service line deliveries.
  • Building and developing relationships and collaborations with key partners including clients, shipyards, suppliers and vendors.
  • Act as an ambassador and promoter for the remote capabilities and autonomous ways of working
  • Implement and drive the strategy towards unmanned vessels including stakeholder management of flag state, coastal state classification societies, clients and others
  • Building, managing and developing a successful operations team to interface with internal and external partners.

Who you are:


  • Degree in Marine operations (nautical or engineering) or equivalent experience or education
  • A strong solid technical and commercial background with demonstrable business delivery track record within the marine industry from shipyard (new building, conversion and/or repair) and shipping/offshore companies.
  • A strong and experienced leader who can build and lead a successful team and positively motivate them to achieve results.
  • Embrace innovation and cuttingedge technology and be a champion for the implementation and acceptance of new solutions, routines and processes.
