Roles & ResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities:
1. Document Management: Maintain an organized system for storing and tracking project documents, including drawings, specifications, contracts, reports, and correspondence.
2. Version Control: Implement and oversee a version control system to track revisions and updates to project documents, ensuring that the latest versions are always available to project teams.
3. Document Distribution: Facilitate the distribution of documents to internal team members, clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders as required, while maintaining confidentiality and security protocols.
4. Quality Assurance: Perform regular quality checks on documents to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
5. Document Retrieval: Respond promptly to requests for document retrieval, providing efficient access to relevant information for project teams and stakeholders.
6. Coordination: Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, designers, and other team members to support document control needs and facilitate effective communication.
7. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements within the document control function, implementing changes to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and overall effectiveness.
